Szu-Pei Fu earned his Ph.D degree in Applied Mathematics from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in 2017. Following his graduation, he was a Peter M. Curran Visiting Assistant Professor at Fordham University from 2017 to 2022.

His research area is numerical methods and mathematical biology in cell membrane model. He is also interested in areas in financial mathematics and he earned a M.S. in Mathematical and Computational Finance at NJIT in 2010.

He has enthusiasm for teaching and is excited to bring his passion to Trinity. He has goals to show students that there is a wide variety of math careers.
