Florence Muhoza earned her Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in 2025. She served as a Research Assistant at the Free Market Institute and as a Graduate Instructor in both the Rawls College of Business and the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. Her interdisciplinary teaching spans economics, gender studies, and entrepreneurship.
Florence views teaching as an opportunity to inspire the next generation of leaders. She is committed to cultivating a classroom environment where students feel empowered to question assumptions, think critically, and apply knowledge to real-world challenges. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes intellectual curiosity, inclusion, and long-term mentorship. She values building professional relationships that extend beyond the classroom and strives to help students develop confidence, empathy, and agency in their academic and personal lives.
