Yun Shi earned her PhD at UIUC under the supervision of Sheldon Katz. She has been a postdoc researcher and instructor at CMSA, Harvard and Brandeis University subsequently. Yun Shi enjoys teaching a wide range of courses, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She also enjoys working with undergraduate students on research or learning projects. Her research interests are algebraic geometry, derived categories, Bridgeland stability conditions, and enumerative geometry.
