Lori DiBella began her career in 1996 following her admission to the bar in the State of Connecticut. In 1997, she joined the law firm Sandler & Daniels where she focused her practice primarily on environmental and energy law. She continued to practice in the field of environmental law, joining the firm Halloran & Sage in 1999. In 2003, she was drawn to public service and joined the Environment Department of the State of Connecticut Office of the Attorney General as an Assistant Attorney General. In this position, she regularly represents the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in complex, multi-party environmental actions, including Clean Air Act enforcement actions. She is admitted and regularly practices before state and federal trial and appellate courts. At Trinity, Professor DiBella teaches environmental policy and the law as part of the Public Policy and Law Program.
