Chad D. Ellis has worked in public education since 1999, having served as a high school social studies teacher and administrator in several Connecticut school districts. He holds a PhD in Educational Administration with a concentration in educational policy analysis from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Ellis previously served as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Educational Leadership at the University of Connecticut, where he taught a graduate course on teacher leadership. His research focuses on the relationship between state and federal policy and educational practice. He has published and presented in the areas of school law, teacher induction policy, and policy implementation. He has also written and presented on curriculum, instruction, and assessment in K-12 social studies.
