Benjamin Woodard's fiction has appeared in Cutleaf, Hobart, F(r)iction, New South, Joyland, Smokelong Quarterly, and other journals. Two of his stories were selected for the 2019 and 2021 editions of Best Microfiction. He is a frequent literary critic for Publishers Weekly, Words Without Borders, On the Seawall (where he is a contributing editor), and Kenyon Review Online. In addition, he has reviewed books for The Georgia Review, Electric Literature, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, and others. He received his MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and has taught English at Central Connecticut State University, the University of Saint Joseph, the University of Connecticut, and Manchester Community College. As an educator, he encourages students to read voraciously, to play with form, and to take risks when telling a story. www.benjaminjwoodard.com |
