A native of Japan, Atsuko Miyazaki began her academic career as a Japanese language instructor at Harvard University, after performing as a musician in chamber music and orchestras, touring around Japan and Europe. She has also taught Japanese at Northeastern University and Wellesley College prior to joining the Trinity faculty in 2006. She has completed the Elementary Course of The Institute in Japanese Language Pedagogy at Columbia University.
