Professor Yoon received his Ph.D. in computer science from Pennsylvania State University in 1995, where he developed numerical algorithms for guidance and control systems for underwater signal processing at the Applied Research Laboratory. Since then he has taught at Azusa Pacific University for five years and now is a professor at Trinity College. He is interested in developing numerical algorithms for signal and image processing which are amenable to Graphical Processing Units (GPUs).
