Allison Rodriguez is an historian of Central and Eastern European history, with a special focus on Germany and Poland. Her dissertation examines creations of belonging and national identity in the borderland region of Upper Silesia during and immediately after the First World War. In her teaching she encourages students to question not only the given sources but also their perceptions of history, in order to gain a deeper understanding of both the past and the present. |
