Arianne Bazilio is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Chemistry. Holding degrees in both chemical engineering and environmental engineering, Dr. Bazilio describes herself and her work as the products of an interdisciplinary education. Her research applies physical and chemical principles to provide sustainable solutions for healthy aquatic environments and safe drinking water.
Dr. Bazilio’s teaching philosophy is firmly grounded in her belief in the effectiveness of doing – actively engaging students in hands-on exercises to broaden learning outcomes. In so doing, she seeks to equip her students with the scientific knowledge and practical skills necessary to thoughtfully approach real world issues.
