Jen Lin, a certified world language teacher and native Mandarin speaker, earned her Master’s degree in Education from Post University. As a passionate and enthusiastic educator, she launched Glastonbury High School’s Chinese program, marking the beginning of her teaching career. Over her fifteen years at GHS, she played a key role in developing standards-based curricula that fosters language proficiency and supporting the school's exchange program with its partner institution in China. Her teaching style emphasizes a student-centered, authentic learning approach that maximizes student performance and fosters a positive learning environment while cultivating an appreciation for Chinese culture. After retiring from GHS, she continued to teach in various language programs, including UConn and North Carolina Virtual Public Schools.
