Dr. Kelly P. Dugan is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Classical Studies with a PhD in Language and Literacy Education. She focuses on teaching practices in ancient studies, teacher training with educational linguistics, and antiracist education and curriculum design. She also researches systems of enslavement and abolition from antiquity to today. In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Dugan is the Faculty Advisor for Students for Accessibility and the Founder of the Disabled Faculty and Staff Group. This academic year, she is teaching Latin I, Latin II, Latin III, Ancient Worlds in Our Community, and Abolition and Enslavement in the Ancient Mediterranean.
