4.10 Recognition of Service

Effective Date: April 1, 2010 (revised)

Purpose:

Each year, the College recognizes employees completing 25 years of service and current-year’s retirees at an all-College reception generally held during the month of April.

Procedure:

Eligible employees are identified and contacted by Human Resources with their gift options.

Employees with 25 years of service and those who retire within the academic year (July 1 through June 30) are presented with their gift of appreciation at the annual reception.

Service is defined as continuous employment in a benefit-eligible position, or service may be bridged in accordance with the Rehires and Bridged Service policy.
