9.03 Hazardous Materials/Waste

The College takes measures to ensure the proper collection and disposal of regulated waste from laboratories, art studios, and facility maintenance as described in this policy.


A comprehensive waste management program is managed through the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) department with support from the Chemical Hygiene Officers for science and studio arts departments. Regulated wastes are collected, stored, and disposed of in accordance with federal and state regulations. For more information, the EH&S Manager should be contacted.
