Course Description:
This course provides students with an interdisciplinary approach to understanding many of the ethical, political and legal dimensions involved in public health. We will examine the societal functions of public health, a branch of medicine responsible for disease prevention and health promotion at the population level. The course explores the fundamental relationship of public health and social justice and the roles of public policy and law in promoting public health. |
