Course Description:
This seminar will explore water issues through the lens of earth and environmental science and how this critical resource shapes domestic and foreign policies. From Colorado water rights in the western U.S. to rising seas that threaten global coastal cities, this course will explore how fresh water is allocated and how salt water is coming to threaten coastal life as we know it. Two off-campus weekend day field trips will be required (one freshwater river trip and one salt water coastal trip). |
