Course Description:
In this course students will study and work with electronic and computer music, exploring past and current technologies and their history over the last 100 years, and will have an opportunity to create original and innovative musical works. While we will be using Logic as our primary software platform, students will be able and encouraged to explore any application and plugins they wish. Students will also gain class access to our computer teaching lab, and to our recording studio facilities in order to work on their course assignments and projects. This course will not require any prior musical training or background, nor any previous experience using music software or equipment. |
