Course Description:
This course serves as the first portion of the capstone for the Theater and Dance Major. Students will explore a variety of approaches to the practical and theoretical work that is core to the performing arts. They will do subject research that will support their capstone project. They will also identify and explore important issues in the field of Theater and Dance, including production, funding, presentation, and career opportunities. This will serve as a jumping off point for their spring capstone projects. Throughout the semester students will be developing the outline for the written component of their capstones. |
