Course Description:
In this class, we will investigate culture, as studied within the academic discipline of anthropology. We will read about and discuss the ways in which the study of culture can help us understand aspects of our lives, such as language, kinship, religion, and other topics. In connection with this material, you will complete several types of writing assignments that will help you develop your skills in academic writing and research and provide you the opportunity to use concepts from anthropology to analyze your own experience |
