Richard Guha graduated from The University of Cambridge, with bachelors and masters degrees in natural sciences and chemical engineering. After a brief sojourn in engineering, he moved to marketing at Procter & Gamble, where he launched Crest toothpaste in the UK. He has had a lifelong passion for understanding markets and innovation, in particular for using processes or technology to enable market needs to be met. He worked for and with several of the most innovative large companies in the world in marketing and general management, and successful founders, such as Forrest Mars, Frank Perdue, Amos Hostetter, and others, becoming the CEO of a Fortune 500 energy company. Among his achievements is the development and launch of the first broadband service in the world, in 1997 www.youtube.com/user/MaxBrandEquity. He started advising startups in 1992 and then moved to found several and advise around 2,000 startups. He has been a formal paid Entrepreneur in Residence and mentor for the State of Connecticut, Sacred Heart University, Yale, and UConn.
