Julia Bekanich serves at Trinity College as the Coordinator for Health Professions and as a Lecturer in the Health Fellows Program.
Julia is a skilled college educator, with over a decade of experience in healthcare leadership and providing direct patient care. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Connecticut and has worked for Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) since 2017. She has served CSCU as an Allied Health & Liberal Arts Tutor, Educational Assistant of Allied Health, and Adjunct Professor of Dental Hygiene.
As an educator, Julia’s teaching philosophy centers on nurturing future healthcare professionals through joyful, engaging learning experiences. She believes in fostering curiosity and providing opportunities for students to explore their interests, guiding them towards rewarding careers. By emphasizing critical thinking skills, Julia aims to equip students with the adaptability needed to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare and to overcome challenges with confidence and compassion! |
