As an adolescent Matt struggled to finish high school. Thankfully, a teacher helped him turn his life around, and he discovered his desire to become an educator. Without his education Matt would not be where he is today.

Matt has since earned a master’s in education from Saint Joseph’s College. At the University of Hartford he obtained his doctorate in educational leadership, focusing on group emotional intelligence. Matt completed my MBA from the University of Connecticut.

In 2015 he co-founded Yellowbrick.me, a data-driven company determined to improve organizational communication and culture. Yellowbrick combines customized assessment analytics with advanced emotional intelligence and social psychology expertise. By examining what makes organizations tick, Yellowbrick drives meaningful change to more professional and productive work cultures.  Matt genuinely believes everyone can use support to make success more accessible — and this notion has been a guiding force in all that he does.

In 2017 Matt became the business administration program director at Goodwin University. He is also the founding director for the institution’s entrepreneurial network (ENet), a business certificate program for justice-involved individuals.

Starting ENet was one of the most rewarding experiences of his career. As an entrepreneur who advocates for everyone deserving a second chance, ENet was created to develop and implement student business plans while empowering participants toward financial independence within their communities Matt currently serves as the program director for the undergraduate business administration program at the University of Bridgeport. Just as my former teacher had done for me years ago. Matt looks forward to helping students recognize their power and realize their full potential.
