Jason Gockel is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of substance abuse disorders and severe and persistent mental illness. His primary clinical focus is on psychological assessment with specialized focus in the application of psychological assessment in forensic settings. Dr. Gockel has worked both inpatient and outpatient in forensic settings and spent a brief time working as a consultant to the United States District Court, where he provided psychological consultation to the Federal Drug Support Court. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gockel has worked briefly as an adjunct professor of Psychology at the University of Hartford, where he taught undergraduate courses in Introductory Psychology and Physiological Psychology. |
