Professor Morelli was Trinity's first tenure-track hire in computer science. He served as the first director of the computer science program and then as the first chair when computer science became a department. At one time or another he taught most of the courses in the CS curriculum. More recently his teaching focused on the introductory sequence, as well as courses on mobile computing and artificial intelligence. His primary research areas are artificial intelligence and CS education.
He is currently the Principle Investigator of the Mobile CSP project, an NSF-funded effort to train high school teachers in CT and elsewhere as a means of broadening participation in K-12 computer science. |
