Haochen Wu is a number theorist specializing in quadratic forms and modular forms. He earned his B.S. and M.A. from Wake Forest University, before completing his Ph.D. at Dartmouth College. His research explores the algebraic and analytic aspects of quadratic forms and their connections to modular and automorphic form. In the classroom, Haochen firmly believes that teaching is an invitation to inquiry and want students to see where ideas come from, to visualize the broader landscape concepts live in, and to understand why they are worth investigating. Also, Haochen strives to foster an inclusive classroom where all students feel valued and supported.
