Michael Flaherty earned his Ph.D. from the New School for Social Research in May 2022. His research interests include the economics of climate change, the economics of disasters, and development economics. He participated in the World Bank’s First International Research Conference on Carbon Pricing in New Delhi, India in 2019 and the 5th International Symposium on Environment, Energy, & Finance Issues in Paris in 2017.
Prior to joining the Trinity College Economics Department, Michael taught courses at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New Jersey City University in Jersey City, and the New School in New York. |
