Wensu Li is a visiting assistant professor at Trinity starting in the fall of 2021. She teaches courses in climate change, microeconomics, and econometrics. Wensu mainly works on environmental economics and labor economics. For environmental, she focuses on understanding the economic and environmental impacts of climate change and international waste trade. On the labor side, she is currently researching job flexibility, e.g. work-at-home and flexible work schedule, as a way of adaptation to extreme environmental conditions.

Wensu finished her Ph.D. program in the Department of Economics at the University of Connecticut in the summer of 2021. She has a master's degree in finance and a bachelor's degree in economics from Sun Yat-sen University, where she started researching the impact of adult children migration on the health and life satisfaction of left-behind elderly parents.
