Eureka Joshi is the Thomas McKenna Meredith ’48 Postdoctoral Fellow in Environmental Science at Trinity College. For her doctoral research, she assembled a network of regional water reuse facilities in Idaho, and collaborated with Native American Tribes, State and Federal agencies and landowners to study western coniferous forest responses to reclaimed water. Her interdisciplinary research considered tree and understory responses, soil filtration, hydraulic nutrient movement, and soil microbial activity. Eureka’s teaching philosophy is to make learning hands-on and enjoyable. She is committed to providing exceptional care and mentorship to students and to fostering diversity by creating a positive and inclusive environment in the classroom for students from diverse backgrounds and identities.
